Ways to get involved with Urbiculture Farms

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA):

Please check out our membership page to read all about our CSA program.

Sponsorship:
UrbiCulture Farms is constantly striving to create a more just and equitable food system in the Denver area. In order to do so we are currently looking for more individuals and businesses to sponsor shares for low income families. If you are a business, in return we would like to do what we can to promote you. Contact us for more information.

Farmers Market:
In the beginning of June we will be at Denver Urban Homesteading's year long Farmers Market on Saturdays at 200 Santa Fe Dr. Denver, CO from 9am-2pm. They accept SNAP (food stamps), Mastercard and Visa. We will be biking all of our produce over! So come visit us on Saturdays and buy some delicious local vegetables as well as much more. Check out their website for all the great classes and goods they are selling. www.denverurbanhomesteading.com/

Transform Your Yard:
If you have a large sunny yard that you would like to be transformed into a food wonderland and/or can host a honey beehive and are within Denver County, contact us and we will see if your yard can be used. In exchange for letting us farm your yard, you will get a basket of fresh vegetables once a week, your yard will be taken care of, and you will be helping to take care of your community and the earth.. We will also pay for the water that we use from watering the produce. During the winter we leave your yard beautiful by planting a winter cover crop or by laying a layer of mulch down.

Donate Your Fruit Tree:
Do you have a fruit tree on your property that bears more fruit than you can handle? Contact us and we will take care of the tree, harvest the fruit and leave you what you want. Most of the fruit will be given to low income families.

Working Shares:
We have currently filled our working share positions for 2010.
In exchange for your work, you will receive a weekly share of food, education on urban food production, and have fun. Contact us with your interest in being a working share member.

Volunteer:
Not only is it a great way to be part of a grassroots movement, but it's fun too!!
